Our support services
Clothing and styling
Our clothing and styling service is provided by specially trained volunteers who work one-on-one with jobseekers to ensure they have work-appropriate clothing, footwear, undergarments and personal care items for job interviews. Once job seekers (our clients) have found a job, we invite them back to be styled and provided with a full work wardrobe for their first few weeks of work.
We offer this service virtually for individuals who cannot attend our South Melbourne site across Victoria, and in Tasmania and NSW, enabling us to support individuals, job services and program providers in other states.
Ready Set also offers place-based services in Werribee and in 2024, is launching place-based support in Dandenong.
Career support coaching
Run by recruitment, training and human resource professionals, our Career Coaching Program is personalised for each of our clients in one-on-one sessions. Our coaches work with clients to identify and address their needs – this may include identifying and searching for suitable roles, helping to build their LinkedIn profile, writing their CV and cover letter, developing interview skills and confidence and any other aspect beneficial to finding and securing employment.
Connecting
In recognition of the multiple challenges job seekers may face while on their job search, our ‘Connecting’ service links job seekers with other services that help them overcome obstacles on their path to employment.
