Donate clothing

We rely on the generosity of individuals and businesses to provide jobseekers with work-appropriate clothing and other essential clothing.

During a personalised fitting session with Ready Set, each person will receive clean, properly fitted clothing that suits their living situation to attend job interviews and start work.

They usually walk into Ready Set feeling unsure about themselves and walk out with dignity, renewed confidence, and self-belief – and ready to find success on their journey to employment. As demand for our services grows, we ask for donations to maintain this free service.

We do not have access to laundry or garment repair facilities and gratefully appreciate your donation of good quality, clean and ready to wear clothing/footwear/accessories. Work attire has become more casual due to the increase in working from home so, at this stage, we do not accept suits or ties as we have corporate partnerships who supply these when needed. It’s important that pre-loved clothes are recycled to meet the needs of others but, due to warehouse constraints, we do have some criteria in what we are able to accept.

Please see below our clothing donation criteria.
